We’re growing and have a role for an experienced Talent Acquisition and People Specialist to join our support team.

 

Reporting directly to our CEO, this role works closely with the executive and senior leadership team on people related initiatives, and is critical in ensuring we have a proactive talent pipeline to efficiently and effectively recruit talent across the agency group.

 

This role is best suited to an experienced HR generalist with a strong interest and background in talent acquisition.

 

The ideal person will have strong experience recruiting in a highly competitive industry environment, ideally within an agency or consulting firm, and have worked closely with high performing teams on engagement, development and retention.

 

This person will be a go getter – someone who’s passionate about growing their career in a supportive environment, and highly adept at managing their own work along with the demands and priorities of the business. 

 

Day to day, you will:

 

  • Use your experience and creativity to engage passive talent pools to build a pipeline of candidates via a variety of channels
  • Manage the end to end recruitment and on-boarding process for multiple roles including talent sourcing, screening, interview coordination, facilitating the feedback and decision making process with the leadership team, along with references, offer, contract generation, on-boarding and induction
  • Use your strategic outlook to work effectively with a high performing team across development, performance, payroll, ER/IR, remuneration and benefits
  • Use your strong negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills in order to assist with employment offer and acceptance, as well as navigate complex people related issues within the agency group 
  • Use your strong problem solving abilities to navigate complex problems through to solution
  • Interpret, review and update people related policies and work with the senior team on outcomes.

 

To be considered for this role, you will have:   

  •  A Bachelor in Human Resource Management, or business related discipline
  •  8 to 10 years' experience, ideally 5-6 years experience in similar role
  •  Previous Human Resource Management and generalist experience
  •  A strong talent acquisition background
  •  Experience in public relations, creative industries or professional services (highly regarded)
  •  A genuine interest in driving candidate engagement strategies
  •  A passion for partnering with the team; enjoy building strong relationships, engaging and collaborating with people
  •  A team player approach with a ‘can do’ attitude to help support the team
  •  Equally as passionate as the team about the work they deliver and the results they achieve
  •  Strong leadership skills and a love for coaching and support
  •  Passion for continuous learning and development.
